Meet Diamond, the dilute calico! Diamond was being fed by a good Samaritan who could no longer continue to care for her. She had indoor/outdoor access in the most recent home. A similar set up may be a fit after an acclimation period in her new home. Diamond may also be just as happy being an indoor only kitty. She was friendly in her previous home, even with the children in the home, but has been a bit nervous since arriving at the Shelter. Due to her shy nature at the Shelter, we are recommending a cat-savvy adopter to help her acclimate and blossom in her new environment. We do not have any history with Diamond with other animals. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
