Age:   approx 2 1/2 years old   Weight: 17  lbs My adoption fee is $ 650  which includes transportation charges to the Northeast   Diego has arrived in Rhode Island from Texas and what a lovely boy he is!!  Three years old, 20 pounds and a mixed breed terrier, possibly Shih Tzu considering his darling little underbite!   Diego was found with his pal, Frida, as strays and went into  a loving rescue with our Texas partner.  He was treated for heartworm disease and now he's right as rain and ready for a family to call his own.   Our fella is doing well on his housetraining , crate trained and leash trained while living in foster.  He loves toys and chews to enjoy at his leisure.  We think Diego would thrive in a somewhat quiet and laid back home environment where he goes on walks and helps his human get some steps in, then kicks back to watch the game and have some snacks!   Diego is a dream!  Do not miss out if you think he may be the dog for you!     If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/
