Critter Details

The Park Pups came to AHS after living outside with their mama during the recent cold snap. They are a coon hound/pitbull mix, which gives them all the wrinkles AND all the ears!Donovan was named after Bloedel Donovan park. He is a really chill guy, though, so he mostly goes by Donnie. If you look up ‘roly poly’ in the dictionary you just might see his picture! This chubby guy is all about having a good time. He loves to follow his people around, play chase or wrestle with other puppies, snooze, and eat. He loves exploring the outdoors at his foster home, and always finds a leaf or stick to tease his sibling with, which starts the next round of chase and wrestle. Donnie is an independent guy as well, not minding time to himself. He can play and explore solo without any problems. When Donnie sleeps you’ll know exactly where he is snoozing, as his snoring skills are 10/10 for being such a little guy.Donnie has been fostered with dogs ranging from 30-60lb, and he has wanted to be friends with them all. He has had the chance to be curious about cats, and has lived with 9 and 12 year old kids. Donnie would love to be your best friend, at your side all the time, or he would love to pal around with an older, playful dog who can take him under their wing.These cute and cuddly pups are almost 12 weeks old (born on 12/17/24), have received their first round of vaccines, and are ready to melt hearts. These pups will need to be signed up for a basic obedience class prior to being adopted.
