Name:    Doozy        Best Guess for Breed:    Spaniel, Retriever Best Guess for Age:    8 months as of February 2025        Gender:    male Approximate Weight:    31 lbs and still growing Gets Along With: Other dogs! Doozy should not go to a home with cats. We haven’t seen him with children but he can be tested. Currently Living At: Animal shelter. Doozy will arrive in the DC area on February 22 and needs a foster. Doozy is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this sweetie landed in the shelter. He’s eagerly looking forward to once again having his own humans, to being loved and giving love.   Doozy is looking for a family that will give him all of the adventures, cozy blankets and belly rubs that he’s been missing out on. He’d love someone willing to spend time on training him so he can blossom into the amazing dog he is! A friendly resident dog will show him all is well and how to dog in his new home. In exchange he promises all the love in his little body, adoring gazes, and loyal companionship for all his days.     What the Shelter Staff Says About Me: Doozy is super friendly with people  What My Foster Says About Me: Doozy needs a foster!
