Text Doris to 864-441-9075 for my full story and photos – we'll send everything you need to know! Here's Your Quick Peek: Doris is a sweet, affectionate, young dog. She is really flexible – happy with other dogs, happy with people, happy in new environments. She plays well independently and with other dogs. A little shy at first meeting, to know Doris is to love her. Please note – if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: A home committed to routine. Like most young dogs, Doris thrives on routine. Exercise: Doris is a young dog. She needs physical and mental exercise daily. She has a good routine in her foster home that involves walks every 2-3 hours.  Best with: A home where someone is home most of the time or wants a companion to take with them wherever they go. Not ideal for: A home where someone is away too much time. Doris wants to be with her people and enjoys going where you are going.  Energy level: Medium – Doris loves to play with toys and go for walks, then taking a nice nap. Doris is a very loyal companion who thrives on attention and will be happiest in a home where she can be close to her person as much as possible.  Good with dogs: Yes Good with kids: Doris can be shy at first, but she loves people to her core. We believe she'd be okay with older children that have grown up with dogs. Cats: Unknown – to our knowledge Doris has never been around cats Fun fact: Doris enjoys being carried, going on car rides, spending time with her person, and playing with other dogs. Potential Adopters   Dogs can’t drive – and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them.
