Critter Details

    Hi! I am a tiny girl at 6 pounds, but I have a huge name,Dorothea Blueberry. You can call me Blue to make it easy. They guess I am between 2-5 years old, but no one knows for sure as I was a stray dog turned into animal control. Waiting for DNA results to see what breeds I am – probably low shedding.   I was very sick when I came to Angels, but WOW, things have changed. They found out I have diabetes and with 2 easy shots a day I have really bloomed. I will need a vet friend so I can be checked a few times a year. I have doubled my weight and gone from bald to having a stunning coat of hair. I am beyond happy and love my new life!   My foster home has 3 small dogs and I get along great with them. I have learned to play and explore outside. I love to go on walks and will lead the way, even if I am the smallest! I adore chewing on bones and other things dogs get to chew on. I have not destroyed or even bothered anything, except my chewies. I am not a big barker, but will bark at meal time and to greet new people who come to visit. I am crate trained and sleep quietly all night.   To say I love to eat is a huge understatement! I will eat anything and everything so I am given what I need at meals and just a few treats.
