We have not seen Dorothy interact with cats or kids. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations:    Because Dorothy is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing Dorothy in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.   Dorothy is Looking For: A home with more dogs to play with! She absolutely adores her foster siblings and spends all her time wrestling, playing tag and learning from them.  What My Foster Says About Me: Dorothy is an absolutely amazing dog. She loves playing with her doggie siblings and once she’s comfortable in the house, will spend all day following you around smiling. She is incredibly affectionate and after a bout of wrestle and tag with the other dogs in the house, will pop right up on your lap to cuddle and fall asleep. She is good on a leash, does well in her crate and is a quick learner.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
