Online Adoption Application › Dottie is a 2 year old girl whose life got flipped upside down when she got pregnant. She was in the local shelter and we saved her. She is the best girl ever! Dottie is dog friendly, cat friendly, and super gentle with kids. She prefers her dog companions to be on the calmer side. After mom life, hyperactive dogs annoy her. Can you blame her, the woman needs a break! Since she came in as a stray she does jump. She is learning that is not okay.  Dottie is crate trained and house trained. She is very food motivated and very smart. She LOVES to play. She will play with anything but seems to understand furniture and shoes are off limits. Dottie still has her playful puppy energy but she is NOT an overly active dog. Dottie loves to take long naps and just hang out! She would love a home with a playful yet calmer dog.  Dottie is up to date on all vetting. She is heartworm positive but the rescue covers all expenses for her heartworm treatment (even after adoption)!
