Meet Duckey Duckey’s story could have broken him, but it didn’t.He was found on the street with eight other dogs, painfully thin and suffering from infected, cropped ears that had been crudely sewn with fishing wire… even a fish hook still embedded. It’s hard to imagine the kind of life he came from but somehow, Duckey chose love anyway.Today, he is one of the most affectionate, joyful, and resilient dogs you’ll ever meet. His past didn’t harden him, it made him softer. Duckey loves everyone. Every person is a new best friend, and every dog (big or small) is a potential playmate. He has this beautiful way of leaning into you, like he’s been waiting his whole life just to feel safe and close.He’s potty trained, learning his basic commands, and figuring out how to be the best boy (he’s already pretty close).
