Personality Playful and affectionate Loves tug-of-war, squeaky toys, and bones Medium energy Loves to cuddle and be in your lap Gives lots of kisses Home Crate trained and sleeps through the night with no accidents Still working on potty training Loves to chew, so he needs plenty of toys Barks when he sees people outside With People & Pets Does well with other dogs but can be a little territorial at times and needs redirection Unknown with cats Best with children around 12 years and older Shy with new people at first but warms up very quickly Training Knows "sit" Food motivated Working on potty training, leash manners, and barking Can be protective of his food while eating in his crate, so he should be left alone during mealtime Ideal Home Duke would do best with an active family, a fenced yard, another dog to play with, and older children.
