Online Adoption Application › Calling all dog whisperers!! Ellen is a fantastic, fun, and wide open little dog. She’s super happy and lives to be in the room with all the activity and action. She plays well with other dogs, is learning house manners, and is FUNNY. She’s a constant companion and brings lots of life to any room she’s in.    She has some work to do though – As much as she loves people and wants to be with her people, she doesn’t love being picked up and isn’t too interested in pets. She stays just a few feet out of reach and is close, but no touchie! She is HIGHLY food motivated and we’re making lots of progress with treats and patience. She’s going to come around, but her trust is not free.    If you love energetic little dogs, understand a bit of fear, and want a best friend forever, Ellen might be your girl!
