Critter Details

Ember is an adult spayed female Black DSH cat. She was adopted a few weeks ago but returned through no fault of her own when she and the resident dog could not become friends. Ember is a very sweet, social girl who enjoys exploring and spending time with volunteers, purring for attention and investigating new spaces. She would thrive in a calm, dog-free home where she can be the solo pet or live with cat-savvy companions. Ember is currently at the shelter and ready to meet her next caring forever family.  Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check – NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
