See EMMY’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.1-1-26:   Emmy is very interactive with her foster shelties and loves to lay on the couch and nap with them.  Per her foster mom, she is NOT a snuggly dog.  She still has an occasional accident in the house, however, she is going in/outside with the other dogs.  She plays rough, but at her size it hasn't phased her foster siblings.  We agree, she will need another friendly canine companion in her future home (35# or less).  11-10-25:   Emmy has come along well, but still has some fears.  This is typical of dogs released from breeding facilities unfortunately.  She will come around in the right environment, thus we will be particular on the family that adopts her (experience with shy dogs).    EMMY has just arrived.  She is a tiny 8.5# sable merle sheltie.  She is very shut down, having just come from a BYB with little to no socialization except with her other littermates (no humans).  She will have a wellness check in a few days, and from there, we will schedule her spay.  She will not be ready for adoption for a while.  A perfect adopter would be a quiet home with previous scared breeder dog experience.  A friendly canine companion(s) to show her the ropes is necessary.  FENCED YARD MANDATORY BEFORE INQUIRING ABOUT ADOPTING ONE OF OUR AVAILABLE PETS or TAKING THE TIME TO FILL OUT OUR QUITE DETAILED APPLICATION, PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON OUR ADOPTION INFO  LINK TO ENSURE THAT YOU WILL MEET THE NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR PETS.  THANK YOU.                                 ************** SSR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICATION.                               **************   SSR is a 501(c)(3) Organization and all donations are completely tax deductible.
