It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. ENERU was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2020. He was a kitten. The lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case.  We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. ENERU is now ready for adoption.  Please note: He had a hematoma on his ear at some point in his life. By the time we got him, it was already harden from it never being addressed. We think it gives him character and is does not stop him from being a sweetheart! So our boy was adopted last year and returned a few months later. He was "too needy" for the adopter and she could not cut his nails.   Meet ENERU, a heartfelt and sweet little companion just waiting to steal your heart! This friendly furball is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he's all about spreading love and joy. You'll know he's ready for affection when he tilts his head in the most adorable way, just begging for pets and cuddles.  Playing is one of ENERU 's favorite pastimes, and he's always up for a game of chasing lasers or chasing after toys. Despite a challenging start in life, ENERU as emerged with resilience and a capacity for love that knows no bounds. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO – ZELLE – PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 5 pm – 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm – 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:  ****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA AND INDUSTY ONLY. But we can do meet and greets at all 4 locations below locations.**** PETSMART – 17651 Colima Rd, City Of Industry, California 91748 PETSMART – 2153 W Florida Ave, Hemet, California 92545 PETSMART – 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562 PETSMART – 34900 Monterey Ave, Palm Desert, California 92211 The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc…once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit…we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. ENERU is ALREADY fully vetted.  The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
