See Enzo’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   HW+Enzo update 5/23/25 Enzo has completed his Heart worm treatment and is now available to be adopted! However he needs to rest for the next 6-8 weeks while the heart worms are absorbed! He would do well with a family with older children. He loves to take walks, play with his toys and chase balls.  ——————————————————————————————————————- Enzo was found chasing women in a bad part of town.  No tags, no collar, no chip, finders posted for 2 weeks on social media, including nextdoor, Ring, and Facebook, but no owners came forward.  We agreed to take him in and help  him.  He got neutered, vaxxed, and sadly tested positive for heartworm disease.  Enzo is available for Foster-To-Adopt only while he's in treatment.  We pay for his medical needs.  You provide the safe loving environment where he can heal and thrive. Enzo get's along with other dogs, but will probably do best as an only dog. Enzo has displayed aggression with intact male dogs.  He will not go to a home where this might be an issue
