Think of Sandra Bullocks' character in Miss Congeniality. That's Esmerelda. She may not photograph as the most beautiful, but spend just a little time with her and you'll find her to be everything you'd want in a cat. Sweetness, huggability, adaptability, caring (you should see her with her orphan kitten pal), with an occasional side of sass and drama (trimming nails is high drama time, though she acquieces without issue).While Esme had a bad case of FOMO when she was first rescued, she has become more laid back and even sweeter than she was when she arrived (and she was outstanding).  Playful on her own or with pals, she brightens everyone's day with her big, yellow eyes. And she is not a black cat! Esme has a small white bib, and the very tip of her tail is white. Not a climber like her brother, she is more of a chair and sofa girl and likes to sit or sleep near her humans. She easily accepts being picked up and being smothered with kisses.As a youngster, Esme does need to be adopted in a home with another cat and would need a proper introduction to resident cats (again, a bit dramatic). She has easily integrated with her foster crew of of cats, and she is best buds with her orphan pal Blueberry (after said drama).
