ESPRESSO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name: Espresso          Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of May 2025          SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight: 47.2 lbs as of 6/1/25 – he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Espresso does well with other dogs. We haven’t seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. We do not recommend him for a home with cats.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Espresso is Looking For:   His forever home! This cutie is at the tail end of puppyhood and hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world. He’s eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he’ll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he’s safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he’s storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days – and to wake you up in the morning better than any ol caffeinated drink can!. What do you say? Is Espresso the one you see by your side?   What My Foster Says About Me:   Espresso loves to run and play fetch with his squeaky ball! He’s been meeting lots of neighborhood dogs and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite, even letting kids give him treats! He loves to play games like chase and also enjoys Kongs, lick mats and bully sticks. He’s working on crate training and loves kissing and resting his head on me and his stuffed toys. His kibble is his favorite treat, though he also loves blueberries and canned pumpkin, and he’s been doing great learning new tricks like ‘sit,’ ‘touch’ and ‘wait.’  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
