He was rescued (along with a few siblings) from a high kill shelter in Texas. Ethan is the runt of the litter.. smaller than his siblings, but he plays well and loves to engage with toys. Ethan is very loving little pup, and lives for snuggle time. Making him a very affectionate little companion. Ethan is still working on potty training, but he's making good progress. Whoever is lucky enough to get this pup will also have to put in the work.  First thing in the morning when you both wake up?  straight outside to go potty.  back inside for breakfast, and then 20-30 minutes after.. right bak outside to do his business.  Try not to distract him while he's outside to go potty, as puppies are notorious for their short attention spans.  Ethan will need to go potty roughly every 3-4 hours until he's about 6 months old.  Potty pads in an exercise pen is one way to make sure he can go potty even if there's no one to let him out during the day. Now for the good stuff.. Ethan LOVES to play, and has a charming habit of slowly sneaking up onhis siblings to ambush them. Ethan is a bit vocal when playing and occasionally when he's in his crate and needs to go out, but he's not a big barker overall. Ethan would love a family that would take him on nightly walks to explore his new surroundings.  Letting him sniff everything along the way!  He wo uld  love an active family that took him  hiking, and just made him a part of their active family life. Ethan's gentle and loving nature makes him a great fit for almost any setting. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a snuggle buddy, Ethan might be the perfect match for your family! If you're pretty sure this sweet little guys sounds as perfect as can be.. please fill out an adoption application today!  He just can't wait to meet you!
