Eugenia is a unique and quirky lady, perfect for anyone looking for a loving and loyal new friend that still needs a little work getting comfortable in their own skin. And home. And really just comfortable in general since she's not the best with change. The shelter life is definitely not her cup of tea, preferring instead to be steeped into a quiet, adult-only home where she can really adjust and show her true self. Once she settles in and gets comfortable around people, Eugenia starts vibrating the room with her purrs while head bonking her way into as many pets as she can get. She also loves keeping herself active with a variety of toys, and when she's relaxing she'll either bake in the sun or dive into any hidey cave provided for her. The simple life.  Eugenia previously tested positive for FeLV earlier this year before arriving at PAWS, but has since tested negative on two different tests. There is a chance the original test was a false positive, or Eugenia has a regressive form of FeLV. That essentially means there is no active virus in her bloodstream at the moment, so she would not be contagious or able to spread it, but it could activate at some point in the future. For now she should be the only cat in her home, pending additional testing and consulatation with your vet.    Age: ~4 years old How I came to PAWS: Found Stray/Surrendered Animal ID#: A180672 Meet me at: PAWS Adoption Center 100 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 &#226&#128&#139215-238-9901 ext.30 **Our Old City Adoption Center prioritizes appointments made by already approved applicants, but we can accommodate browsers and walk-ins if and as our capacity allows.
