Meet Eva, a female American bully who was born on July 27, 2020. She is 63 lbs of love. Her owner describes her personality as confident, independent, and playful. She’s loyal and loves attention; tends to prefer staying close to her owner. Eva is great with kids of all ages and gets along with other dogs. Eva is tolerant of cats, though she may take time to adjust to new (human) visitors. She can be a bit destructive when bored but providing her with toys helps keep her entertained. Eva is generally well-behaved and listens well. She enjoys playtime and being active, but she’s also content lounging around. Eva would thrive in any home where she can receive plenty of attention and interaction. Eva loves cuddling, playing, going on walks and lounging, She does best with beds that aren’t too fluffy, as she tends to destroy soft ones quickly. Eva's current owner states that she is crate-trained and typically spends time in the backyard. When left alone for longer periods, they provide puppy pads for her. Eva can be territorial, especially when it comes to the couch or beds. It's best to keep her off furniture to avoid any issues. As is common with her breed, Eva tends to pull strongly on the leash and can be reactive at times, though not always. She would do well with an experience dog owner who will continue training in this area. Eva had surgery in 2023 for an intestinal blockage caused by ingesting corn on the cob. She is spayed and up to date with Vaccines and checkups at Nutley Animal hospital.
