He would definitely benefit from being adopted into his forever home with a calm, patient human. When you pick Everest up, he purrs like a baby. However, it takes some time to get your hands on him. Boys like this make great best friends. It really just takes a short time to earn their trust. Once it is earned, Everest will be your best friend ever. The longer he is in foster care, the harder the transition becomes. He is likely to attach to his humans here and miss them. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.
