Name:  Feta         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix  Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of June 2025         SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 26 lbs as of 5/21/25; she is still growing!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Special Adoption Considerations: You may notice Feta has some hair loss – have no fear!  She is being treated for demodex which is a non-contagious form of mange triggered by a weak immune system. She will have a shiny coat in no time!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter foster home; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here and get her family!   Feta is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweetie is just out of puppyhood and hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world. She’s looking forward to having her own humans to show her all of the exciting things life has to offer. Trips to parks, playdates with friends, and new adventures are on her to-do list! Oh, and LOTS of cuddles!Most of all, though, she wants to know she’s safe and loved. What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time in foster care.
