Currently though, her stomach is bigger than her heart. We are working hard with measured meals and walks to help her get her girlish figure back. She loves following me from room to room which also helps her get her steps in. She sleeps happily on a dog bed on the floor next to my side of the bed. She is very sweet to our 2-year-old wild toddler. She gets along well with other male and female dachshund mixes. She does all her pottying outside like a good girl. She really enjoys her walks but you do have to go kind of slow. She gets winded. We do three short walks about 10 minutes each for now. Once she gets some of those pounds off, her endurance will increase.
