Adoption Event Schedule Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations: 2nd Saturday, Sacramento – Pet Food Express 3rd Saturday, Modesto – Strand Hardware Store 4th Saturday, Roseville – Pet Food Express Please visit the GCGSR Rescue Page for specific address information. All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once. Flame is an approximately 8 week old, all black, male puppy. He plays well with the two other female puppies in his foster home and holds his own with the pushy females. However, he is the first one of the group to go find a comfy spot or lap to lay in when he is ready for quiet time.More to come as we get to know him. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. Go to our home page for an explanation of the Dog Rating Levels. (https://gcgsr.org/doglevels/)For more information and to see when this dog will be attending an Adoption Day, please see our Dogs page on our main website. (https://gcgsr.org/adoptionprocess/)We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don’t adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state. We have special Requirements for Adopting a Puppy and a separate Puppy Questionnaire that must be completed on puppies. Please see our Requirements for Adopting a Puppy (https://gcgsr.org/puppyreqs/) email us at info@gcgsr.org for more information.Thank you for visiting!
