Now that he’s enjoying the warmth and safety of an indoor life, he is a happy and healthy little guy! Flea is friendly with other cats, especially his cuddle buddy Leo and his friend Guerito. Since Flea is still young, he will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with a kitty from FFF. He would love be adopted with one or both of his foster friends…and he’d thrive in a multi-cat household! Flea’s also great with kids, making him a wonderful addition to any family. Although he does not have much experience with dogs, Flea is an easy going and friendly kitty who would likely do well with a canine friend as long as he is given a slow and supervised introduction.Flea is ready to lighten up your house with his playful and loving spirit! He absolutely loves to play and is a fetch aficionado! He’ll bring you his favorite cat toys, eager for you to toss them so he can dash back with them in tow. Cat tunnels and ribbon-on-a-stick toys? You bet he loves jumping, catching, and running off with them! Flea’s foster mom first heard Flea before she even saw him. One cold winter night her window was open and she could hear Flea’s desperate meowing all the way from a door across the street. And if you’re wondering where he got his name… When Flea’s foster mom first picked him up from the street, the poor thing was covered in fleas! After about 3 hours of bathing and picking off fleas, Flea was finally all cleaned up and has been cozied up inside ever since.
