 Meet Fred! Fred came into rescue in rough shape. He’s a 6 year old, 65 lb hound with big clunky paws and a beautiful red brindle coat. For a boy who was likely an outside dog all his life, he is making an amazing adaptation to indoor life. He loves meals and snacks, and in typical hound fashion, may sniff out some snacks that don’t belong to him. He enjoys simple days-especially being outside, going for walks, or just snuggled up on his favorite chair. With his loving nature, he prefers the company of humans, and is learning how to ask for affection. He currently lives with children ages 10 and up. Fred lives comfortably with the foster dogs in his home, but may not do well with small dogs or cats due to his hunting nature.
