She loves everyone, but she especially has a place in her heart for males of all ages. She likes being active and will require an owner that will keep her busy horsing around, going for hikes, introducing her to new things. Her favorite game is tug-of-war so please have tug-of-war toys around. She will bring the toys to you to play tug-of-war when she’s ready (which is most of the time).Remy is an appropriate chewer, she knows her chew toys….but you have to keep an eye on her…she will eat them, and once in a while your shoes will look just like a toy and she won’t know the difference. She minds her manners, she will follow your house rules once she is informed where she can and can not go. She will stare at you intensely for food, but she knows not to jump on the table, go on countertops, or garbage surf. If you are eating and you don’t want to share she’ll get the point soon and just walk away.Remy is a very loving and adorable canine that deserves to be in a good home. I think she would do best in an active home with a large family and a back yard to meet her busy needs. She is completely housebroken, crate trained and leash trained, though she does pull slightly right at the beginning of a walk. She does have a prey drive and may try to get squirrels, but she is easily redirected. She appears to be really good with other dogs, she just wants to play. Unfortunately I did not introduce her to cats, but at Animal Control it appears she just ignores them. Try her!! I’m sure you’ll fall in love!!
