This gorgeous grey tabby arrived from an outdoor colony, and she's gracefully learning to embrace the joys of indoor living – and discovering just how wonderful cuddles can be. Frieren thrives with a human who understands her need for personal space, but don't let her independent spirit fool you! When the mood strikes, she's absolutely up for playful antics. While she's still exploring the concept of full-on snuggles, she'll reward gentle ear scratches with soft purrs when you hold her. If you're ready to invest time and patience, Frieren will unveil her best self: hilarious play sessions and endless laughs as she embarks on intrepid explorations of your home. You'll often find her curiously inspecting shoes, even dropping her favorite toys inside! She's the lighter of two nearly identical grey tabby sisters (her twin is Fern), with delicate features that set her apart. And there's one sound guaranteed to make her come running: the opening of a wet food can! Are you ready to unlock the many rewards of this unique and charming girl? Frieren is from a community cat colony. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
