If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.  Fruit Cake is a beautiful fluffy calico girl. She is a special kitten, just like her namesake—while many people don’t like fruitcake, those who do know how sweet and unique it is! Similarly, Fruit Cake doesn’t warm up to everyone right away, but for the right person, she will be an incredibly special companion. She was new to people when she was rescued from the local shelter and will need a patient adopter to continue working with her. She absolutely adores the resident pet, who is under a year old, and would thrive in a home with a young cat friend to guide her and show her how to “cat.” She also has a sweet calico sister Gingerbread that would love to be adopted with her ( available after spay 1/29/25) She absolutely needs a cat friend in her new home. With time and love, Fruit Cake will be a wonderful addition to the right home. She was born sometime in November 2024.
