She came to us in mid-February from a Louisiana shelter along with Lena, who is also on our website. Both girls were very skinny and had some significant skin and coat issues. It’s wonderful to see her regaining her good health! Gena is fairly active and playful. She gets along great with other dogs, but we think she could be happy as an only dog as well. Gena loves being outside. She has done well with potty training unless she is left alone for too long and then she will go on a pee pad. Gena has had a much needed dental procedure and will soon be treated for her heartworms. We expect she will be ready for a sleepover by the end of May.
