Meet Goldie, a seven month old stunning orange and brown tabby with medium-length fur that shines as beautifully as her potential. Goldie is still learning that humans can be kind, and she needs extra time to feel safe and secure. With patience and understanding, this gentle soul will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Goldie needs to go to a home that has at least one other cat, she LOVES other cats and really takes their lead: think of it  like you're getting your cat, a cat! Goldie has really started to blossom in her foster home. She lets her foster people pet her and will come to them when they call her: this is huge growth! She loves to chirp at her foster mom and will now lay beside her on the couch. Don't tell her we told you, but she may have even started snuggling up to the humans in bed at night! She is really food motivated and just needs time to feel safe. If you have a soft spot for shy cats and are willing to let Goldie come out of her shell at her own pace, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love, and the best water drinking dance! Give this sweet girl the chance she deserves! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
