Grandpa is a patrolman at heart. His energy is very much in line with his cattle dog rootsâ&#194&#128&#194&#148alert, purposeful, and always on the lookout for things that need his attention. He immediately got to work ‘inspecting’ the perimeter of the yard, like a four-legged security guard. He can be a bit timid at first, easily startled by unexpected movements or sounds, but his reaction is always quiet and thoughtful: he pauses, braces, and processes, never aggressive or reactive. Once youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve earned his trust, he might lean into you for comfort or offer you a kiss when you crouch to his level.Grandpa is food motivated and observant, traits that will serve him well as he bonds with his future people.
