They need plenty of physical and mental stimulation. They like to go on runs, hikes, or biking adventures with their owners. They won't be satisfied if they get to run around in the backyard on their own. The level of training these dogs require to harness their energy and protective instincts is far beyond the ability of the average dog owner. They also need a significant amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation.
