The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center has a large number of animals just waiting for adoption. And we receive new ‘adoptees’ every day, so add our website to your ‘favorites’ list and visit us often.  http://www.talgov.com/animalsGroot is a 68-pound boy with beautiful snow-white fur and a playful personality. He was surrendered when his owner could no longer afford to keep him, and now heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s looking for a family who can give him the love and stability he deserves. Groot is active, playful, and a little talkative, and he absolutely adores his people, though he may take a little time to warm up to visitors or strangers. He has experience living with children over the age of 5 but has not lived with cats or other dogs. Groot loves chew toys, squeaky toys, andâ&#194&#128&#194&#148believe it or notâ&#194&#128&#194&#148socks. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s house trained and crate trained but can get bored easily, so heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll do best in a home that can provide plenty of activity and mental stimulation. He can jump fences around three feet high, so heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll need a secure yard to keep him safe. Groot is also a bit sensitive to loud noises, sudden movements, and nail trims, so a patient home will help him feel comfortable. Overall, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a gentle, sweet, and playful dog who is ready to bond closely with his new family.
