A Big Ask for Two Big Boys Gus and Dude have made one thing very clear — they are bonded brothers. And as much as it breaks our hearts, we simply cannot split them apart. They arrived at a local shelter just 5 days ago, and the stress is already showing. They’re confused. They don’t understand what they did wrong. They only know that everything familiar is gone… except each other.Gus and Dude are 4-year-old, well-mannered boys with great house habits. They enjoy going inside and outside when it’s safe and the weather is nice, and they are truly just gentle, easygoing companions. Their biggest request? Please let us stay together.Bonded adoptions are hard.Bonded adult cat adoptions are even harder. And right now, we have three bonded pairs depending on us.These boys are going to need a BIG save — and that’s where you come in. Please think about your friends, family, neighbors… anyone who loves cats and may have room in their heart and home for two loyal brothers.Sharing this post helps more than you know.Gus and Dude are counting on us. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 If you don't see pictures on Petfinder, please go to our website to view at www.kykittycats.com and we always have a waiting list that hasn't been posted yet. We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open. We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex. Please visit and like our social media pages… https://www.facebook.com/kykitties https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent. If you are interested in sponsoring an animal, just list their name in the comments.
