Name: Hallie Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Pointer Mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of March 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 33 lbs as of March 2025 – she probably has a bit of growing left to do! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area boarding facility Hallie is Looking For: Her forever home! Hallie is a light-eyed young beauty that proves it’s not a crime to be young and beautiful! This young girl has emerged from puppyhood and still has all that puppy love for play and cuddles. She’s eager to explore her new world by the side of her new family. Romps in the park, sniffy walks, and all the adventure you can dream up – yes, please! Hallie would love to make new pup pals along the way (preferably with dogs named Annie). Most of all, she wants to know that she is safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes, tail wags, and loyal companionship for all her days. Will you give Hallie the life she dreams about and become her new best buddy? What Shelter Staff Say About Me: Hallie loves playing with other dogs in play group and is described as having a ‘gentle dainty’ play style and also enjoys playing tag with other dogs. What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! We will update this when Hallie has spent time more time in her foster home. Volunteers who have taken Hallie out for the day from her boarding facility noted that she is “an absolute sweetheart,” she “was wagging her tail all day long,” was friendly with resident cats, and was good on the leash.
