See Hannah’s HomepageGo to our official websiteHannah is a darling little Malti-Poo who is about 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds.  Poor Hannah had a rough start.  She was found running around a busy street in South LA and was matted and horribly urine stained on her feet and lower  body – a sign she had been locked in a crate for extended periods of time and forced to sit in her own urine and feces :(  If you're wondering why her feet are dyed orange, my groomer could not get the yellow staining out and decided she would look cuter with intentionally dyed feet rather than naturally urine stained.    When we originally got her it was clear she had no socialization and was terrified of everyone and everything. Our wonderful foster family and their two dogs have spent weeks nurturing Hannah and reassuring her.  She is still very shy, cautious and quiet but is quickly learning she deserves all the affection she can get.  The first few days in her foster home were spent hiding from them, but through gentle coaxing and treats and, most importantly, Hannah observing how the other dogs enjoy human affection, she has begun sleeping in bed with her fosters and now enjoys being in the same room with them.  She routinely rolls over for belly rubs now and has even started playing with the other dogs.  She's very loving and affectionate when you hold her or have her on your lap.  Hannah is still getting the hang of being on a leash but being outside on a busy sidewalk and street spooks her, however, her foster home has a yard and she is consistent with pottying out there.  In time, Hannah will gain more confidence and become more comfortable on walks.  Our target home for Hannah to ensure she continues to thrive and blossom into a confident, affectionate happy dog is an adult only home with a yard and another well-socialized dog.   If you're interested in meeting her, please fill out the adoption application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com.
