Prepare to be charmed by Hansel, a kitten as sweet as his name suggests, and ready to bring boundless joy into your home! This adorable little guy is a true standout, not just for his playful spirit, but also for his unique polydactyl paws – those extra toes on his front feet add an extra layer of cuteness and character! Hansel is the perfect blend of fun and friendly. He absolutely loves to play, and you'll often find him pouncing, chasing, and exploring with wide-eyed curiosity. He’s a wonderful companion, always ready for an adventure or a good toy session. While he's full of spunk, Hansel can be a touch shy initially. He might not jump straight onto your lap right away, but give him a little time, and he'll be purring up a storm by your side! He enjoys hanging out near his favorite people, happy to be in your company. Once he feels comfortable, he absolutely adores pets and will reward your gentle touch with the most delightful purrs, a clear sign of his affection and contentment. If you're looking for a playful kitten with a charming personality, unique paws, and a heart full of purrs, Hansel is your guy! He's ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and plenty of happy moments. Come meet this special boy and let him steal your heart! Hansel is from an owner surrender with mom and sister. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
