I took her from an abusive situation even though I could not afford her; she hasn't had the vet care needed. She did great with a previous male dog and does not like cats at all and doesn't seem to care for children with her age (used to be fine). I'm not sure what the best solution for her is. Having the puppies recently was very rough on her but she's in great spirits. She would be a great single person dog and guard dog. She weighs about 40-45 pounds and is very tall. Right now I'm not sure about weight because the puppies drained her quite a bit and she will eat so fast she just throws up. Please contact the Amber at: 540-922-3920 Adoption fees are $250 unless otherwise stated.  Senior dog adoption fees are $200.  100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter.
