He came to us from a horrific hoarding situation involving over 33 dogs who were found emaciated and living in filth. Despite the neglect he suffered, Heathcliff has decided that humans are actually pretty wonderful.His Personality: Heathcliff is a "gentle observer." Because he was undersocialized in his past life, he is a bit timid when meeting new people or entering new environments. However, once he feels safe, his true colors shine! He is a total "sweetie" who absolutely loves to be petted. If you’re looking for a dog who wears his heart on his sleeve (and his tongue!), you’ve found him—Heathcliff is a world-class kisser who will thank you for every bit of kindness you show him.His Social Life: Dogs: Heathcliff feels right at home with other dogs!
