 Hope is very sweet, gentle and independent but friendly and loving.  When she's feeling affectionate, she'll snuggle up, lie in your lap, give sweet kitty kisses and neck licks or sometimes just wants to be near her humans, joining them on the bed or lounging on a chair watching t.v.   And her fur is so soft to the touch with minimal shedding!This easygoing, chatty girl gets along great with people, whether they're strangers or folks she knows.  She's pretty calm and patient and is okay being picked up and held, too. She also enjoys her share of chin scratches!She's pretty laidback most of the time, but the does get the occasional  'zoomies' and will play with balls or chase her own tail!  She's very athletic and loves to jump on the highest surface she can find! Sweet story about Hope-  When her foster mom first brought her home, she came out of her crate and immediately jumped in her lap and put her paws on her foster's chest and started nuzzling her neck and licking it!  Her foster mom was particularly moved by her quick adjustment, especially since she was found in a steel mill in Indiana, and the rescue saved her at the last minute when she was brought into animal control.  They truly gave this sweet girl a chance at a new life which is why she was named Hope!Hope is a gentle kitty who craves affection and enjoys being near her humans(including older children who will respect her boundaries).   With her calm demeanor and loving nature, she would make a wonderful companion for those looking for a furry friend to share their days with.  And since she uses a scratching post to keep her nails in tip top condition, you won't have to worry about your furniture!   A bonus would be adopters who had a catio, so she could enjoy the great outdoors safely!   Hope would be fine with a small, calm, cat-friendly dog as well as a laidback kitty.  She could also be the only fur princess in her castle!This loving cat is looking for a forever home where she can receive the attention and care she deserves.
