Howard Approximate Birthdate 8/18/25 Facts About Me Breed: Domestic shorthair Color: Buff orange tabby Age: 4 months Sex: Male My Info: Neutered Shots Up to Date Good With Cats House-trained My Story: Howard, or as the kids in the house call him “Hungry Howie,” is a loveable, playful little guy looking for a home of his own. Howard is equal parts cute and curious and (slightly) clumsy. He loves people and other cats. He adapts well to new situations and doesn’t loathe car rides (he’s kind of a unicorn!). He loves his crochet elephant and cuddling on the couch (or your chest, whichever he can get away with). He would do best in a home with a playful cat to keep him company, children, or a friendly dog. Howard will need to be retested at 6 months for FIV. Please check out the Kitten Lady’s article on kittens testing positive for FIV. It is most likely a false positive from maternal antibodies. ”A positive FIV test should never be a reason to hold back a kitten from finding and joining a loving forever home!” https://www.kittenlady.org/fiv I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are interested in Howard, please contact me at vchanny86@gmail.com for an application. Thank you.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**
