He is a resilient young soul who has endured more than his fair share of hardship. Howie came to the shelter with severe skin issues and had obviously missed a few meals. He’s had a tough start in life, but despite it all he remains as sweet-natured as can be, appreciating every bit of kindness and affection he receives. While on a recent slumber party he got along well with the other two dogs in the home and took corrections well. He is very friendly and will greet you with a wagging tail and a smile. He enjoys spending time with his people and soaks up all the attention. He is a calm and quiet companion. Howie is crate trained and would benefit from being crated when left home alone to help with his potty training. Howie was not destructive of household items while in the home. Howie would do best in a cat free home. He does well on a leash and is a gentle, sweet boy. Howie is approximately 2 years old and weighs 56 lb.
