This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Hunter! Hunter is a bold, playful 2-month-old orange and white tabby with a big personality packed into his tiny Domestic Short Hair body. If you’re looking for a kitten who sees life as one giant adventure, Hunter is your guy! This energetic boy is absolutely fascinated by feather wands—especially the ones with bells—and will happily chase anything that moves. He’s the leader of his litter, always the first to explore a new room, climb the cat tree, or pounce on a furry mouse toy. From surveying his “kingdom” from up high to wrestling with his brother, Hunter is always on the move and always entertaining. Although he’s independent and prefers not to be picked up, Hunter does love to sit in your lap for pets and snuggles. He’s a confident, friendly kitten who enjoys being in the middle of whatever is happening and likes to be the center of attention. With visitors, he’s social and curious, and with other cats, he adapts well—especially when they’re his size or larger. Hunter would thrive in almost any loving home that can give him plenty of toys, space to explore, and a sturdy cat tree to rule from above. A home with playful feline companions similar in size or age would suit him best. If you’re searching for a spirited, adventurous kitten with loads of charm and personality, Hunter is ready to bring excitement, laughter, and leadership to your home! * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible – this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
