Meet Isabella, a approximately 1 to 2-year-old female cat rescued off the streets of San Francisco in June 2025. Isabella was born outdoors and has spent most of her life pregnant. During our rescue and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project, a neighbor informed us that the 15 kittens found nearby were most likely her offspring. We successfully trapped her while she was pregnant, just days away from giving birth. Initially, Isabella was scared, skittish, and wary of human contact. However, since beginning her rehabilitation process last week, she has shown remarkable progress, gradually warming up to human interaction. She is a wonderful mother and has a very sweet temperament. She has received all necessary medical treatments, including vaccinations and check-ups, and is currently doing well. Here is an update on her ongoing journey toward recovery and adoption. Isabella would make an ideal companion in a calm, slow-paced environment where she has the opportunity to form strong bonds and truly blossom. She has already made significant progress in her development and adaptation, which has contributed to her happy demeanor and confident peronsality.
