I’m Isabella, but my friends call me Bella. I’m a beautiful Great Dane with a glossy black coat and sharp white markings that make me quite the head-turner. I’m looking for a new home because my owner is going through a divorce, and I need a place where I can thrive and be loved.Here’s a bit about me:Personality and Behavior:• I’m very loving and have a heart full of affection.• I get along well with other dogs, even as small as 15 lbs. However, I’ve been in situations where other female dogs have attacked me. I didn’t fight back, but I did hold one dog’s head in my mouth to stop it from biting me without causing any harm.• I’m very excited around small kids, so it’s best if any children in my new home are 13+ and have experience with large breeds. With some training, I could do well with all kids—I just need to learn how to manage my excitement.• Despite my age, I have a lot of puppy energy and LOVE to do zoomies in the yard.• I’m housebroken, but I might have accidents if left alone for more than 8-9 hours. I haven’t been crated since I was a puppy, but I do well if shut in a room when needed.Training and Habits:• I do jump at times, and I will beg for food. My counter surfing skills are top-notch, so keeping food out of my reach is a must!• I’m afraid of thunder and will need some comforting during storms.• I haven’t shown any food or toy aggression.• I’m not used to getting into a vehicle, but with some effort, I might learn to love it.Home Needs:• A fenced-in yard where I can run and exert my energy is ideal.• I would do best with an owner who is home more often than not, as I love being around my people.• I haven’t been around cats, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them.• I’d love a home with a canine companion to keep me company.Other Fun Facts:• I sleep on a daybed and will happily sit on your lap if you let me.• I’m extremely loving and adore snuggling with my humans.If you’re looking for a big, loving, energetic girl who wants to make you smile, I might just be the perfect match for you.
