Critter Details

Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!  We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind before you apply/get too attached. Ivan and his sisters, Iona and Irina, were rescued from a feral colony when they were about 7 or 8 weeks old. They were all very sick with bad eye infections, and with lots of care, they have improved by leaps and bounds! Ivan is a classic marbled tabby with white and the only boy. He's also the only true friendly kitten of the group, who is very happy to receive human attention and acts like a friendly cat. His two sisters, Irina and Iona, while they will purr upon being pet, are more apprehensive about being handled by humans.  Please consider adopting Ivan with one of his siblings or his friend, Freddy Friend. Single-kitten adoptions are possible when there are other playful and cat-friendly cats in the home. Learn more about the reason why we don't adopt kittens out alone. Foster-to-adopt one or more kittens while they await their spay/neuter surgeries and an official adoption can be executed. We recommend they be kept in a bathroom or spare room away from other cats for the time being. This litters' appointments are scheduled for February. This litter has an estimated date of birth of October 14th, 2025. Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption. The adoption fee in the amount below helps us assist more cats and kittens in urgent need. These fees do not even begin to cover our expenses so please consider making an additional donate to support our life-saving efforts! Special Needs or Barn Cat – Donation Adult Cat / Kitten over 6 months – $90 Kitten under 6 months – $150 Pair of Kittens – $275 Please feel free to contact us by email with any questions, or submit your application here: http://www.needsmust.org/adopt
