    Hello, friends! My name is Jack Star, and I really do feel like a star since I was rescued. I'm getting yummy food, toys to play with, and lots of TLC. I'm a beagle boy and I weigh 29 pounds. I'm estimated to be six years old, but I act younger than my age. Foster mama says I'm a goofball who's down to clown whenever and wherever. I love people and cuddling! I also love other dogs and enjoy playing with them. I am best friends with two of my foster fur brothers and we wrestle and play every day. It's so much fun! I'm perfectly house trained and pretty good walking on a leash. Like many beagles, I let my nose lead the way! I will go into a crate if you give me a tasty treat, but I don't like being left alone and will loudly sing the song of my people for a few minutes before quieting down and napping. It would be best if I didn't live in a place where walls are shared with neighbors like apartments, condos, or townhomes.   I was Heartworm positive, but I've finished treatment and I’m ready to find my new home. I can be pre-adopted in the meantime. Foster mama says whoever adopts me is going to be so lucky to have such a funny  and loving pup. I can't wait to find that special person!
