I'm a sweet, potty-trained pup who's still learning to trust the world around me. I can be pretty shy, especially around men, but with a little patience and kindness, I’ll start to come out of my shell. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd really love to have an older pup sibling to help me feel more confident. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them. I'm also kennel-trained and can sleep peacefully through the night. I know some basic cues like "sit" and "stay," and I really enjoy going on walks—especially when I have a routine to follow. Because I'm still working on my confidence, I’d do best in a home with older kids who understand my need for a little extra time and space. If you have a quiet, loving home and another dog to show me the ropes, I think we could be the perfect match! Jackie was adopted as a puppy but was recently returned through no fault of her own. Her previous adopters took good care of her but she does require a little more patience than they were able to give.
