Meet Jasper – A Quiet Charmer with a Soft Personality Jasper is a 10-year-old, striking Russian Blue mix with a sleek grey coat and sharp yellow eyes. When he's not staring into your soul, he is stealing your heart! Calm and observant, he loves lounging in sunny windows, getting brushed, and meowing softly to greet you in the morning or when you come home—just his way of saying, “Hey, I missed you!” He’s an independent gentleman who values his routine and peaceful surroundings. Jasper would do best in a quiet home with no other pets or children, where he can enjoy his space and bond at his own pace. He loves to be brushed. If you give him a daily brush session, he will fall for you quickly. And while he’s normally very well-behaved, he’s not without a little mischief. Once, he dragged one of my rugs into his litter box, as if he were redecorating. (He has opinions about interior design, apparently.) This caught me off guard, as he never knocks over items or chews on things he's not supposed to. He's extremely well behaved, 99.9% of the time. Jasper does have a sensitive stomach, so he's currently on a specific dry food diet – Hill's Science Biome – that keeps him feeling his best. He's a good eater—as long as it’s the right food! He's currently prescribed prednisone for his stomach. It's a liquid oral drug given every other day. I can give it to Jasper with no issue! When you meet him, I will show you how I give him the drug – it's very easy! If you’re looking for a low-key companion with a touch of quirky charm, Jasper just might be the cat for you. Give this sweet boy a quiet, loving home—and he’ll give you plenty of peaceful moments and just the right amount of sass. Age:10 years How I came to PAWS: Animal ID#:A179474 I am not at the shelter.
